McNally House Hospice exists to provide compassionate palliative care to individuals and their families.

What is Hospice/Palliative Care?
The philosophy of Hospice/Palliative Care revolves around the importance of advocating for the needs of the patient. Hospice/Palliative Care neither hastens death, nor prolongs life but preserves quality of life. Hospice/Palliative Care emphasizes living fully until the end of life in comfort and with dignity. Focus is placed on the physical, emotional, spiritual and psychological needs of the resident and their loved ones. Hospice/Palliative Care also provides bereavement support for loved ones.
Why does a Hummingbird represent the Hospice?
The hummingbirds float free, carrying our hopes for love, joy and celebration on their wings. Hummingbirds open our eyes to the wonder of the world and inspire us to open our hearts to loved ones and friends.
The hummingbird’s delicate grace reminds us that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, and we must enjoy each day to its fullest.
